Abstract

250,129. Fornaca, G. Nov. 24, 1925. Valve gear.-Two or more valves are simultaneously actuated by means of a cross-piece 5 provided with tappets 6 engaging the valve stems, and with a central extension 7 working upon a guide 8. The cross-piece is acted on by cams 4 arranged symmetrically with respect to the axis of the guide. The guide may enter a socket 9 on the cylinder head, and be connected to the cam shaft by a two-part yoke 10, 11. A. pair of parallel cam shafts may be provided, one actuating two inlet valves, and the other two exhaust valves, in each cylinder.
