Abstract

250,058. Jackson, J. P. June 12, 1925. Addressing-machines. - In an address-plate holder of the kind comprising a plate provided with spring tongues carrying projections engaging the edges of the plate, the spring tongues being depressible to release the plate, stops are provided to limit the depression of the tongues. As applied to the known construction of plate holder comprising a plate 10 with lugs 11, 13 to engage the side edges of an identification card 12 and an address-plate 14 respectively, and projections 17 on depressible spring tongues 15 adapted to engage the ends of the plate 14, the edges 21 of the plate 10 are bent under the body of the holder and provided with depressed portions 20 forming stops to limit the depression of the tongues 15.
