Board games.-Apparatus for playing a game comprises a single playing piece corresponding with a football field marked substantially as shown, the playing piece being moved by the players in accordance with successive throws of dice. Each half of the board is divided into three sections l, m, n, by transverse lines d and goal lines b. In each section are a number of circles e denoting playing positions and numbered or lettered to correspond with the dice markings. Some of the circles g, are coloured blue and others f, red to denote the opposing sides whilst other circles h, are purple to indicate neutral positions. In playing a game, the playing piece, representing a football upon a supporting base, is placed in the centre of the board and the players throw the dice to determine who is to begin. The winner throws again and moves the playing piece into the section and on to the number indicated by the dice. If this playing position is marked with his own colour he throws again and proceeds to the next section and so on. If, however, the playing position bears his opponents colour or the neutral colour, the throw passes to his opponent.
