[Class 132 (ii)] Game apparatus comprises a board having a plurality of areas each representing the field of play in a simulated game, each area having portions at or adjacent its two ends differently or distinctively marked to represent the opposing sides in the simulated game and a number of separately formed playing pieces adapted to be placed on the board in relation to the differently or distinctively marked portions so as each to represent a point or goal for one of the opposing sides in one of the simulated games. As shown in Fig. 1, a board d is marked with a number of areas each representing a football field and divided into sub-areas g with distinctively coloured goal areas to designate opposing teams. The areas are consecutively numbered. Red and black counters f are provided to indicate respectively goals scored by visiting and homo teams. A forecasting and scoring pad e is also provided. In playing a game, each player is allotted a predetermined number of counters and a forecasting pad. Each player marks his pad with a forecast of the matches, win, lose or draw. The players, playing in turn place their counters one at a time in the subareas g endeavouring to further the results they have forecast. When all the counters are exhausted the results of the matches on the various areas are decided by the number of counters deposited thereon and are then entered on the pad and points awarded for correct forecasts. The board may be made with holes t, Fig. 5, into which the counters in the form of pegs u may be inserted. In a modified board, the sub-areas are represented by pairs of columns q, r, Fig. 3, radiating from numbered spaces p, the game being played as described above by placing the counters in the columns q, r.
