Cooking - stoves; ovens; doors; boilers, arrangement of.-A stove comprises a double - walled body, preferably of cylindrical form, mounted on a hollow 'base 2, there being a removable asbestos-lined slide 11 at the bottom of the oven chamber, beneath which is a gas burner 14; the top 3 is arranged for the support of a utensil, and on either side are off-set hobs 4, the gases being directed to or cut off from, them by adjustable hinged baffles or dampers 7. Flanged or sliding covers 5 are provided for closing the apertures in the hobs. A vessel may be heated in the oven by placing it over the gap left by the removal of the plate 11. Hooks may be provided on the rear face of the stove to attach it to a kitchener or like stove, a hinged baffle at the lower part of the rear face directing the heat from the fire into the stove. The front of the stove is closed by a door which may be removably held in position by a pivoted bar held in fittings on either side of the body, and may be hollow and provided with a filling- .aperture and discharge tap to serve as a waterheater.
