Abstract

The clip 100 comprises a web 101 with two edges 102, 103 and two legs 107, 112 extending from a respective edge. In use the web is designed to be placed on the upper edge 105 of a narrow topped finishing or cladding material 106. The first leg also comprises at least one fixing indicator 110 for indicating one fixing position. The clip is used to increase the area that fixings can be applied and reduce pressure on a particular part of the cladding when fixing the cladding to a wall. The first and second legs may extend at the same angle from the web or in opposite directions. The second leg may include fixing indicators, such as apertures, indentations or markings, through which the fixings, such as nails are placed in use. The clip may be made from a resilient material including metals, polymers or fibre reinforced polymer composites.
