Abstract

Scaffold safety rail system comprises at least one safety panel (24, Fig 3) and at least two mounting members 12 for mounting the panel on a scaffold. Each mounting member comprises a body portion 14 and spaced apart upper and lower panel brackets 20, 22 for engaging respective upper and lower regions of the panel. The mounting member also includes spaced apart upper and lower scaffold tube brackets 16a, 16b for releasable attachment to a scaffolding tube 10. The lower panel bracket has a second peg portion in the form of a moveable latch portion 22b for retaining a lower part of the panel. The panel (24, Fig 3) may comprise a frame portion (26, Fig 3) and a mesh portion (28, Fig 3).
