Abstract
247,950. Siemens - Schuckertwerke Ges. Feb. 17, 1925, [Convention date]. Systems depending on two or more machines; central station plant, arrangements of.-In a power generating system comprising several alternating current generators driven by separate engines, the wattless currents are furnished wholly or in part by a generator unit 4 supplied with high pressure steam and exhausting into an intermediate pipe line 5 supplying the remaining generating units 7. Low pressure boilers may also supply the pipe line 5. Tappings 8 for feed water heating may be taken from the unit 4. The auxiliary engine may supply the main engine through steam tappings.
