Abstract
A retaining strap 1 of moulded plastic to restrain scaffolding boards 2 within a conventional scaffolding arrangement, whereby in use the strap is attached to a ledger 4 underneath the scaffolding boards, and further engaged between a toe board 3 and the scaffolding boards. The strap comprises a plastic strap of luminous material to aid visibility in poor light conditions. The strap can be used at the junction between two scaffolding boards, and features a tapering cross-sectional profile to minimise trip hazards, as shown in Fig 4.

Scaff strap The scaffstrap may be used to scaffold boards on tube and fitting scaffolds.
The scaffstrap comes in different sizes for different width scaffolds 3 board wide scaffold=30 inch length 4 board wide scaffold=40 inch length board wide scaffold5O inch length 6 board wide scaffold6O inch length All above are strap sizes are 250mm width and 20mm thickness and are made from the same high visable memory plastic.
Please note,some sizes may vary slighty.
The scaffstrap is made from a illuminous high visable memory plastic that will find its shape and withstand high or low temperatures the strap will also withstand a fall from height and cause less injury than the steel straps used by some scaffold companies, the illuminous plastic will hold daylight to give off a glow for high visablaty on winter days in work hours as daylight may sometimes be poor.
System scaffolding scaffstrap This design is the same in all aspects apart from the hook system may change to allow the strap to fix to the different system scaffold used today. Claim
