Abstract

A device that can be used to help the feeding of twins or two babies at the same time by one person using one hand. The device comprises a handle <B>H</B>, and arms <B>A</B> which form a <B>Y</B>-shape and may be extendable and has two bottle holders <B>BH</B> for holding a pair of feeding bottles. The arm has hinges <B>X</B> for adjustment of the angles of the bottles.

Description

The Feedifier -Description
This invention relates to a device for feeding twins at the same time.
When trying to feed twins and alone in the house it is very difficult to do at the same time and when trying to do at the same time (one bottle in each hand) it is very difficult and babies can become distressed and upset.
It is very hard to control the feeding and keep the bottles in the baby's mouths due to them moving and often becomes very messy when doing it alone.
In fact there are many articles on the internet that state how difficult it is to feed two babies at the same time.
You can find devices that help on the internet that allow babies to feed themselves but these devices can not be used at a young age and it's not a personal as feeding the twins yourself.
A lot of the time when trying to feed babies at the same time it can be very uncomfortable on the arms (holding bottles in the mouths at the same time) and very difficult to control.
To overcome this problem the Feedifier is a device that allows the carer to feed the twins at the same time freeing up one hand.
It is made up of: -The Handle -The Arm -The Bottle Holders * I I *1 I It has a handle that is adaptable and changeable by clipping on and off depending on hand size. S.
: The arm is an upside down Y shape and has will be made of a dishwasher safe plastic/rubber. The arm has hinges (labelled by X on Diagram I) and can also extend at point X as well using a tube system. * S.
* At the end of each arm you will find the bottle holders. The Bottle Holders (BH on : Diagram I) allow any size bottle to be placed in as they are made from a flexible plastic/rubber that allows any size bottles to be placed in.
The bottles can be any size as the places were the bottles clip into is made from flexible material i.e rubber/velcro.
This means you can hold two bottles at the same time -with one hand -meaning the other one if free to comfort the babies.
The bottles can then be angled and locked into place so that accurate positioning can be achieved and this allows for babies movements.
As the pmduct is holding baby bottles it is important that it is dishwasher friendly and durable.
The drawing enclosed show the following detail -the drawing is entitled Diagram 1.0 H -The handle which is molded to fit the size of anyone's hand and also interchangeable BH -Shows the bottle holders.
