Abstract

A bottle suitable for feeding twins comprises a bottle having two open ends being at opposite ends of the bottle, the open ends each having a teat attached. The bottle is divided internally in two by means of a partition wall. Extension pieces in the form of flexible hoses may be attached between the open ends and the teats to for flexibility of feeding. The bottle may also have two filling caps, one either side of the partition wall. Although the bottle is described as being for use in feeding twins, it could be used for two separate feeds for one baby.

Description

Title-Mama Mia's Twin Bottle This invention relates to the feeding of twin or two babies at the same time. There has been a significant increase on the birth of twins due to IVF and 30+ women having babies.
This invention wifl enable parents/carers to feed the two babies at the same time. It has two caps for filling the bottle with a maximum capacity of 9oz each. The bottle is separated by a divider and non-return valves to reduce the risk of infection. The bottle ako has a hose attachment.This can be attached via the cap so that if the babies are aying down in awkward positions the hose will be able to bend and flex to suit the positions of the babies. The baby will still be able to be fed.
This bottle will come in various co'our schemes both sides pink for two girls and Blue for boys. When there is a mixed set of twins,ie. Girl and boy one side will be pink and the other blue. It will also come with a matt writing surface where the name of the baby can be written on the appropriate side of the bottle. This writing can be washed off during the deaning process.
I am speaking from experience, being a mother of twins. Not only is this idea practical but it is time saving for the parent. The making of the feed and the distribution can be done at the same time.
