Knock-down boxes; corner joints.-A knockdown box comprises four side plates 1 - - 4 hinged together, a bottom plate 6 hinged to the side 1 and a lid 5 hinged to the plate 4, the plates 1 and 4 being connected together in the erect condition by a sliding bolt 9 and sockets G while flanges M on the plates 2, 3 and 4 engage within flanges H on the bottom plate. and are retained therein by a looped spring P carried by the bottom plate. The parts are retained in the folded superposed condition by clamps Q, R carried by the lid and bottom plate and slidable and rotatable in staples thereon.
