Abstract

245,534. Langstone, C. J. Oct. 17, 1924. Brackets, adjusting; pedestal, pillar, and like stands; stands; heads.- A shaving &c. mirror c is pivotally mounted upon a pedestal u, the joint comprising two members j, h connected by a screw m, passing through a plain hole in the member h and screwing into a tapped hole in the member j, the opposed faces of the members being formed with interengaging radial serrations k. A spring p is arranged around the screw between the members j, hand located in recesses formed in the opposed faces thereof. The joint j, h is preferably combined by a second and similar joint disposed at right angles thereto to permit a universal adjustment of the mirror. The pedestal u may be replaced by an arm which may be pivotally mounted upon a wall bracket or base.
