Abstract
The green car energy generator's primary function is to generate electricity for use outside the vehicle, this electricity charges a rechargeable battery system, the rechargeable battery system can charge multiple batteries at any one time, these batteries are easily removed and can be utilised in any building electrical mains or feed electricity directly in to the main grid, or elsewhere outside the vehicle. The electrical energy is created by harnessing turbulent air flow captured in wind tunnels incorporated in to the vehicle, the turbulent flow of air is captured by multiple micro impeller driven turbines which then generate the electricity, in addition several multiple micro impeller driven turbines are installed in the outlet as well as through the exhaust system itself. The flow of emissions generated by the exhaust system also drives the micro impeller driven turbines, which then generate the electricity.
Description
Green vehicle energy generator
Background
All vehicles currently have aerodynamic features, which block wind and reduce the efficiency of the vehicle. This invention harnesses this unused wind, which is then channelled to feed a micro impeller driven turbine. The second part of the system utilises the exhaust system. The emissions from the exhaust will also be utilised to drive a micro impeller driven turbine.
The micro impeller driven turbines generates electricity which then charges a "High Storage Capacity Rechargeable Battery". This electrical power stored in the "High Storage Rechargeable Battery" can be used in any buildings electrical mains or feed directly in to the grid or elsewhere outside the vehicle. The charged battery will not be used inside the vehicle.
Statement of Invention
The Green Vehicle Energy Generator System comprises of three subsystems as follow I. Wind Tunnels in the vehicles body work in order to feed the micro impeller driven turbines 2. High storage capacity rechargeable battery system 3. Micro turbines fitted to the exhaust system of any vehicle Wind Tunnels This part of the system will be part of the vehicle design. The wind tunnels will create a flow path of air which then turns the multiple micro impeller driven turbines. The wind Tunnels are the primary input / feed which is used to drive the micro impeller driven turbines which then creates the electrical power.
The wind tunnels can also be directed to the outlet of the exhaust system in order to cool the exhaust pipe work and reduce the emissions temperature.
High Storage Capacity Rechargeable Battery System The rechargeable system once fully charged primary functions are; 1. Supply clcctrical power which once charged will be for use outside the vehicle 2. Supply power direct to the rechargeable batteries which then can be used in any household or building / or feed direct in to the electrical grid.
3. Multiple batteries can be charged at any one time.
The batteries are easily removable and reusable.
Charge Manifold The charge slot manifold is mounted in the vehicle allowing power to charge the rechargeable batteries. The charge slot also contains a charge status indication light (green = fully charged, red charging). The charge manifold can charge multiple batteries at any one time.
Power Distribution Manifold The power distribution manifold is located either direct in to the household or building mains which supply electricity to be used for internal use or fed directly in to the main grid.
Figure 1& 2: Please review the following descriptions of each component; Entry Points -The car will have incorporated entry points created during the initial design phase. These entry points are the inlet of the air to the wind tunnel.
Wind Tunnels -The wind tunnels capture the air and create turbulent flow. The wind tunnels outlets can also be directed to the exhaust system to cool down the exhaust pipe and emissions temperature.
Micro Impeller Turbine -Multiple small turbines will be incorporated along the wind tunnels. The turbulent flow of air will be harnessed by the impellers on the turbine; this will drive the turbine and generate electricity. The exhaust system can also incorporate micro impellers; the flow of air from the exhaust pipe will drive the turbine, the turbine then generates the electrical power. The electrical power feeds in to the High Storage Rechargeable Battery System.
High Storage Rechargeable Battery System: -The electrical power created by the multiple micro impeller turbines is supplied here. The electrical power charges The High Storage Rechargeable Battery System, which can charge multiple batteries at any one time. The batteries are contained in a charge manifold. -)
Advantages Green Vehicle Enerv Generator I. Generates Power from wasted energy 2. Enables the vehicle to be more self sufficient 3. Generates electrical power which can also be utilized in any building or feed direct in to the grid or elsewhere -all of which are outside of the vehicle 4. Cools down the exhaust pipe work L.
Claims (1)
- System Claims I. The green car energy generator's primary function is to generate electricity, this electricity can be used to charge a rechargeable battery system, the rechargeable battery system can charge multiple batteries at any one time, these batteries are easily removed and can be utilised in any building electrical mains or feed electricity directly in to the main grid, electricity stored in the High Storage Rechargeable Battery system is only for consumption outside the vehicle The vehicle will have multiple entry points used to capture air, these entry points are the inlet for the air which is then channeled through a wind tunnel, the outlet of the wind tunnels can be directed towards the exhaust pipe, this reduces the temperature of the pipe as well as the outlet emissions, these wind tunnels create turbulent flow due to the movement of passing air which is then harnessed by the micro impeller driven turbines which are mounted inside the wind tunnels, the impellers attached to the turbines rotate due to the turbulent air flow, this rotational movement generates the electrical power, this electrical power is then used to charge a rechargeable battery system mounted in the vehicle, the rechargeable battery system can be used only to supply electricity for use outside the vehicle The exhaust system can also incorporate micro impeller driven turbines; the flow of air through and from the exhaust system will drive the micro impeller driven turbines, the turbines then generate the electrical power, the electrical power generated here feeds in to the High Storage Rechargeable Battery System.
