Abstract

A support for a bag containing growing media comprises a base and vertical supports. The base is made of four base pieces <B>a, c</B> which slot together to form a rectangle and the vertical supports <B>d</B> attach to two shorter base pieces <B>c</B>. The vertical supports <B>d</B> support a raised horizontal bar <B>b</B> which is able to support canes via mountings <B>e</B> for supporting growing plants. A protective sheet <B>g</B> may be provided which is attached to a spring roller <B>f</B> so that it may be rolled back when not in use.

Description

"A Grow Baa Plant Cold & Cane Frame" The invention relates to a frame
capable of propagating plants at the early stage of development and without plant transplant supporting tall plants grown on a plant grow bag.
Two of the major problems of growing tall plants is the propagating of plants for transplanting and transplanting them into grow bags. This process delays growth and is undesirable. The second major problem is the difficulty in supporting tall plants effectively. This is due to the small depth of soil contained within a plant grow bag.
The depth of soil does not support a cane being pushed into it alone.
One key requirement for growth is increase soil temperature. The temperature of the grow bag can be increased if it is protected by a cover. The second key requirement for stabilising a plant is to provide a support [pole or cane) that is fixed at the base of the plant and is fixed at higher level.

    components the frame is characterisJ in that It is flat pack and self assembly It has only screw fixings for fixing components (f) spring roller component and the protective sheet part (g) On the completion of the propagation phase of growing the protective sheet part (g) can be rolled back for natural growth.
    The canes or poles can be put in place for plant support It can be easily disassembled for winter storage.
    No parts need to be unscrewed It is envimnmentany friendly as it can be reused each year
