244,704. Lepla, H. F. Dec. 20, 1924, [Convention date]. No Potent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Shades, silk and like.-In a lamp shade comprising a collapsable skeleton metal or like framework upon which silk or other fabric is stretched, the conducting wires are passed through a tube 1 having an upper notched crown member 2 to which are pivoted ribs 3 connected by struts 6 to a lower notched crown member 7 the proportions being such that when the shade is in the extended position the struts 6 are horizontal and the member 7 is thus held up against a ring-shaped abutment 8, being further secured when an electric lamp bulb 5 is screwed on to the threaded lower end of the tube 1.
