Abstract

A flexible or semi-rigid nozzle fix tube or cartridge application comprising of at least one flexible or semi-rigid area <B>B</B> which maintains a practical flexed form when adjusted to suit the users preferred angle or position, the flexible or semi-rigid area <B>B</B> is disposed in the centre of the nozzle <B>A</B> to allow flexibility yet still remain semi-rigid; the nozzle has a dispensing end <B>G</B> for applying solutions and having means <B>C</B> for connecting to tubes <B>F</B> or an adaptor <B>D</B>.

Description

Noizie This invention relates to a flexible I semi-rigid nozzle fbr
tube or cartridge applications preferably with flexible adaptor.
At present cartridge and tube nozzles are rigid and users of such nozzles for applications find it extremely difficultif not impossible to apply the contents from the tube or cartridge in to tight or restricted areas. This means that when applying substances from tubes or cartndges the recess or restricted areas cannot be correctly filled or sealed with the substance.
To overcome this problem the new invention proposes to be flexible while remaining semi-rigid and maintaining its flexed shape / form when required allowing the end of thenozzle to be positioned to where and to what angle that is required.
The flexibility of the nozzle or adaptor will maintain its flexed shape I form yet remain semi-rigid allowing users to distribute substances more precisely and with an aesthetically pleasing finish within a shorter time, also allowing for areas to be covered that would normally be left due to inaccessibility restrictions. The flexible / semi-rigid nozzle preferably with adaptor would require to have at least one flexible I semi-rigid area on both nozzle and adaptor preferably in the centre of the nozzle and the centre of the adaptor. Preferredrnanufactuiing material would beplasticor metaland having an accordion pleat or with means to create a similar flnction as accordion pleating to achieve semi-rigid flexibility.

Claims (9)

1. A flexible I semi-rigid nozzle for tube or cartridge applications
comprising of at least one flexible I semi-rigid area-which-will maintain a practical flexed shape/form when adjusted to suit the users preferred angle or position, preferably the flexible / semi-rigid area will be in the centre of the nozzle to allow flexibility yet still remainingsemi-rigid having a dispensing end for applying solutions and having a means fbr connecting to tubes, cartridges or an adaptor.
2. A flexible / semi-rigid nozzle for tube or cartridge applications according to claim I preferably having an adaptor with at least one flexible / semi-rigid area which will maintain a practical flexed shape I form if and when required.
3. A flexible! semi-rigid nozzle for tube or cartridge applications according to claim I preferably having an adaptor with connecting ends to accommodate nozzles, cartridges or tubes.
4. A flexible / semi-rigid nozzle for tube or cartridge applications according to claim 2 preferably having an adaptor manufactured of different shapes, lengths or diameters..
5. A flexible I semi-rigid nozzle fur tube or cartridge applications according to claim 4 preferably being manufactured from plastics or metals.
6. A flexible / semi-rigid nozzle for tube or cartridge applications according to any of the preceding claims having a flexible area preferably accordion pleated or the means to create a similar function.
7. A flexible I semi-rigid nozzle for tube or cartridge applications according to claim 6 having an adaptor with a flexible area preferably in the centre and preferably accordion pleated or the means to create a similar function.
8. A flexible! semi-rigid nozzle for tube or cartridge applications according to any preceding claims having the connections moulded to a container, nozzle or adaptor.
9. A flexible! semi-rigid nozzle for tube or cartridge applications according to aH preceding claims having the properties where appropriate can be shortened by a sharp tool.
