Abstract

A refuse bin where the body of the bin has a panel 1 that is pivotally attached at the bottom of the panel to the base of the bin by a hinge, the panel allows the user to easily remove and replace a bin bag. The hinged panel may be held in position by the lid unit 3, the removal of which will allow the user to lower the panel and the bin bag to be accessed. Preferably the lid unit 3 holds the bin bag in place, and has a butterfly lid 4 comprising two halves that are pivotally attached to lid unit. The bin may also have a removable tray/container 5 located in the base of the bin to catch any waste material that may fall from the bin bag. The bin may also be easily disassembled to allow easy cleaning.

Description

<p>EZ Bin This invention relates to an easy way to change the bin bag.</p>
<p>When a large amount of rubbish is forced in to a bin the bag can prove difficult to remove, as well as possibly tearing the bag. Which could possibly leave bits of rubbish and liquids from inside the bag, on the bottom of the bin or on the floor as it is being carried to the dustbin.</p>
<p>To overcome this, the present invention proposes a falling front. The front being hinged at base and when in use the front and back held together with the lid unit.</p>
<p>The falling front will allow the bag to be easily replaced as well as making the bin easy to clean.</p>
<p>Preferably, the bin includes a small removable tray that would capture any thing that may fall out of the bag or any juice that may have leaked.</p>
<p>Preferably, the lid unit has a butterfly style lid that can be fully opened with one hand.</p>
<p>Preferably the whole bin can be disassembled to allow easy cleaning.</p>
<p>An example of the invention will now be described by referring to the accompanying drawings: -figure 1 shows the bin with the front in place.</p>
<p>-figure 2 shows the bin open and lid open.</p>
<p>The falling front I is attached by a simple hinge to the back half and base of the bin 2 the lid unit 3 sits on top holding the bin together, the butterfly lid 4 allows rubbish into the bin. A shallow tray 5 is place in the bottom of the bin to catch any rubbish that may fall out of the bag.</p>

  1. <p>Claims 1. A bin from which the bag can easily be removed due to a
    falling panel.</p>
    <p>2. A bin according to claim I, in which the bin has a lid that can easily be opened.</p>
    <p>3. A bin according to claim 1 that has a smaller removable tray to catch any liquid or matter leaked from the bin bag.</p>
    <p>4. A bin according to claim I where by the bag is held in place by the lid unit.</p>
    <p>5. A bin according to claim I that is easily dissembled to allow easy cleaning.</p>
