Cleats.-A device for locking looped cords &c. comprises a member formed with open-sided apertures a, a<1>, and an eyelet a<2> for attaching to it one end of the cord, a portion of the cord being passed through one aperture a', twisted over the member and passed through the other aperture a. The eyelet a<2> may be replaced by a hook &c. and more than two open-sided apertures may be provided. In one form the device is constructed from a length of wire.
