Hot-plates; burners, mounting.-In gas-heated hot-plates in which the front and back members of the cornice or frame are formed from tubes b, one of these tubes serves to supply gas to the burners, and carries gas nipples c and taps d. The tubes extend between end members a, and an intermediate tube g is also provided to support the burners, being carried by lugs h on the end members. The lugs h are duplicated, and the end members a otherwise designed so that they are adapted to serve for either end of the cornice. The burners, which are alternately long and short, are supported by bearing-pieces i all of the same form and capable of being secured in any position along the tube g, the parts of the grill being secured in a similar way. Grid sections j, all of the same form and reversible end for end, are carried by the tubes g and located by collars l which are secured on the tubes by set screws and are arranged between the grids, or, as shown, slotted to engage a part of a grid.
