Abstract

Moulding walls in .situ.-Concrete walls are moulded by means of a number of mould boards 1 in the form of flanged frames 2, which are connected together by channel-shaped clips 6 adapted to fit over the abutting edges 3 of the frames. The board 1 may be of wood having metallic binding strips 4, Fig. 3. At corners, inner and outer coupling members 7, 8 are provided, such members being in the form of angle bars placed' in the angle formed by the ends of the abutting corner members and to which they are connected by clips 6. A lintel 15, sill 16, and the sides of a window or door opening 12, Fig. 7, may be formed by mounting in the opening a frame 13 which is retained in position during moulding of these parts by channel clips 14 engaging the wall 11. Hollow walls are formed by using inner mould members or collapsable cores of the kind described in Specification 240,761, and the top of the wall may be closed by a metallic screen 18 which supports a concrete cap 19, Fig. 7.
