Weather-screens.-In a windscreen for motor-cycles of the kind which is carried upon horizontal rods 7 mounted on the handlebars and is maintained in an upright position by inclined stays 14 connected at one end to the screen 1 or adjacent part and at the other end to the rods, the upper ends of the stays are slidably mounted upon guide-rods 5 forming part of the screen frame so that the inclination of the screen can be varied by raising or lowering the upper ends of the stays, and the two ends are adapted to be locked simultaneously in any adjusted position by the rotation of a single bar or the like. In the construction shown, the rods 5 from the vertical limbs of a U-shaped support and pass through and support tubular sleeves 2 integral with the edges 3 of the screen frame proper, the lower ends of the limbs 5 being pivotally mounted by joints 9 - - 12 so as to have a universal movement on the rods 7. The ends of the stays 14 are also pivotally connected by two-part pivoted clips 17 and 24 to the rods 7 and guide-rods 5 respectively so as to have universal movements relative thereto. In this way the rods 7 can be adjusted to any suitable angle to fit handle-bars or supports of various widths. In order to effect a simultaneous tightening or slackening of both clamps 24 for adjusting the inclination of the screen, a transverse rotatable bar 32 having internally threaded ends 30 engages fixed right- and left-handed screws 29 passing through the clamps and is rotated to cause the limbs of the clamps to close together or move apart.
