Abstract

A self -lighting cigarette 2 which can be lit by striking the cigarette along the side of a cigarette packet 3 having a rough material 4 comprises an ignitible material such as a circular piece of brimstone on the tip 1 of the cigarette.

Description

SELF LIGHTING CIGARETTE (SELF LIGATES! This invention relates to the every
day cigarette. I;: This invention is the modification of an every day cigarette. For all the times you here smokers say "have you got a light" all this could be changed with this invention.
The materials used in this invention are very easy to get hold of all they are obviously a cigarette and the material used on the end of a match sulphur (brimstone).
The invention is used on an every day cigarette by making the sulphur (brimstone) into a thin circular shape piece of material that fits on the end of every cigarette.
To light the cigarette, all you do is strike the end of the cigarette on the side of the cigarette packet, which has the rough material used to light an everyday match stuck to the side of every cigarette packet.

Figure 2: Shows the cigarette packet '3' with the rough material used for striking the cigarette '4' enabling the cigarette to be lit Figure 3: Shows how the Self Lighting Cigarette would be lit, in this diagram it shows the cigarette '2' the cigarette packet '3' and the rough material '4' to strike the sulphur (brimstone) against to light the Self Lighting Cigarette. Place end of the cigarette with the brimstone on the tip '1' on the side of the packet and either strike the Self Lighting Cigarette in a up or down motion '5' to get it to light.

Claims (3)

1. The Self Lighting Cigarette saves the use of your every day lighters
2. The Self Lighting Cigarette is lit by striking the cigarette like a match along the side of the cigarette packet which has the rough striking material stuck to it.
3. The Self Lighting Cigarettes will fits into a normal cigarette packet without any modifications needing to be made to the packet, apart from the added rough striking element on the side used for striking the cigarette.
