Abstract
240,380. Marks, E. C. R., (Service Products Manufacturing Co.). April 7, 1925. Reservoir brushes. -A container 1 for liquid is provided with a stopper 4 having a screwthreaded pipe 12 extended to engage a socket 9 in a ferrule 6 which carries bristles 7. The pipe 12 has a passage terminating in an orifice 15 which is adapted to be closed by a plug 10 in the socket 9 when the ferrule is screwed home on the pipe. For the purpose of allowing liquid to reach the bristles, holes 16 are formed in the socket 9 or alternatively the plug 10 has flattened sides leaving passages between the plug and the inner wall of the socket. The stopper, in a modified construction, may take the form of a sleeve surrounding the end of the container, the pipe being integral with the stopper. The container is preferably made of glass.
