Abstract

217,792. French, A. W. Aug. 3, 1923. Air-pressure sprayers.-The cap 5 of a liquid container 2 is provided with a straight air tube 9 and on the opposite side with a separate member 4 which forms a detachable connection for the forward end of an air pump 1 so that the pump can be removed from the cap before the cap is screwed on or off the container. The forward end of the pump is provided with a spigot member containing a non-return valve 6, means such as a ferrule 8 being provided to prevent it falling into the receptacle 2. The outer end of the air tube 9 is provided with a detachable nozzle 10 and is reduced in diameter to fit in an air tight manner round the liquid tube 13 which is provided with the usual air inlet holes 11.
