240,285. Reichwald, V. B., (Maschinenfabrik Waldau). Sept. 8, 1924. Meshing screws.-The twin screws 7 of a pump are arranged on geared shafts 2, 3 and are constructed so that one side face of each thread conforms with radial lines extending at right angles from the axis of the screw, while the other side face 8 of each thread is under-cut so that the axial depth of the thread is greater at its circumference than at the place where it joins the core part 6. This has the effect of diminishing the gap between the two screws.
