Seating-surfaces; bedstead bottoms.-A flexible seating or bedstead bottom comprises a band formed of blocks 1 arranged in staggered formation on cross rods 2, springs 4 or other resilient media acting exteriorly or at the side of the band to hold the blocks close together. The springs 4 may be accommodated within recesses 5 in the blocks 1. The band may be connected to the framework 9 of the seat or bedstead by means of hooks 8 and eyes 6.
