Slipping preventing attachments to wheels. - Armour sheathing for flexible shafting &c., stated to be applicable for skid preventing on tyres &c.. comprises a series of hardened steel balls and cylinders 2, 3, threaded alternately upon the flexible member 1 and retained thereon by end members such as lock 4 adapted to be applied to a member 5. The ends of the cylinders fit the balls, allowinsthe member 1 to be flexed and obviating gaps through which a, saw &c. could reach the inner member.
