Abstract

A container 1 for a drink additive such as milk, milk substitute or syrup is of an arcuate shape resembling an orange segment so as to sit on a standard saucer and fit around the cup as in Figure 3. It may be made of plastics and have a pull-back foil lid 3.

Description

Milk- Syrup Container This invention relates to a new design of container
in which milk or syrup supplements are held, when being served during coffee or teas.
Other containers are available, however unlike these containers, this new design will sit snug around a cup and saucer and not fall off.
An objective of this design is that it allows end users to handle the containers easier and for it to be much more presentable when given to customers taking a coffee/tea.
The container is to be shaped like a segment of orange, filled and then have an easy to pull off foil lid.
The following describes the invention/design: 1. Figure 1 - shows the actual shape of the container 2. Figure 2 - shows a side, cut out view of the actual shape of container 3. Figure 3 - shows how the design would sit on a cup and saucer 4. Figure 4 - shows the moulding material to be used in this design
Description
As shown in Figure 1, the container is shaped similarly to an orange segment, I showing the base, 2 being solid The top of the container, 3 will be removable with a foil peel off lid showing an unspecified individual, corporate design. This invention/design allows easier handling by all who would use it. It will stack and store easy and exhibits a useful different design. (Hopefully this will be seen as an improvement on containers currently available).
When for example a waitress or waiter is carrying two cups of coffee, presently, they have to return with milk containers. The invention I am proposing will allow the waiter or waitress to make just one journey, the milk container being able to sit comfortably on the side of the saucer, hugging the cup. See figure 3.
This would please the end customer due to the thought of the design.

Claims (5)

  1. Claims
    Milk - Syrup Container 1. The design of the container is shaped like an orange segment and would sit on a standard saucer and hug the cup. Its contents could be milk or milk substitute, syrup or a combination of the above.
  2. 2. The design of the container as claimed in claim 1, can be made of a plastic moulding or from a combination of plastics which allow the contents have a long-shelf life.
  3. 3. The design of the container as claimed in claim 1 and 2, would have a removable foil, pull back lid.
  4. 4. The design of the container as claimed in claim 1,2 would not have a set design logo on the removable foil lid. It however will follow the shape of the main body of the container and appear orange segment shaped.
  5. 5. The design of the milk shaped container substantially as herein described and illustrated in the accompanying drawings.
