Window frames; window shutters; vehicle windows.-The U- shaped guide or frame of a window, shutter, &c., particularly of a motor car, consists of a metal channel a enclosed in a closely fitting celluloid or like sheath b. The metal in the flat is inserted in a tube or wrapped with a layer of the material and then bent to the required shape. When the celluloid is wrapped on the metal the join may be placed at one edge to give a frictional engagement with the sash &c., or at the bottom of the channel.
