Abstract

The invention discloses a framework of a V-shaped rubber belt and material thereof, wherein the framework has a flake structure and is made of polyester, nylon, or steel stripe and so on. It's characterized in that said flake structure increases its traverse-rigidity of stripe and transmission power. Due to the flake structure, the sheering force between two adjacent flakes is avoided, which improve service life of the stripe. Since adopting the flake structure, the process of manufacture of the belt is simplified and the cost is reduced. Because of the smaller tensibility of the flake structure, it is avoided that the V-shaped belt is adjusted frequently at the interval of using.

Description

ms e'V' ''>a: SHEET-SHAPED REINFORCING MEANS OF V-TYPE RUBBER BELT AND
THE A/IATERIAL THEREOF
TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to V-type rubber belt (i.e. wedge belt), and more particularly, to a sheet-shaped reinforcing means of V-type rubber belt and the material thereof.
DESCRIPTION OF THE RELATED ART
Presently, there are two main structures of the reinforcing means of V-
type rubber belt, that is, fabric layer structure and cord structure. However, the cord structure has disadvantage in that the transverse rigidity thereof is not sufficient, thus causing transmission power loss, and the fabric layer structure has disadvantage in that there are exfoliation between the adjacent layers, thus causing damage to belt and decreasing the durability thereof.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
Accordingly, the present invention has been made keeping in mind the above problems occurring in the related art, and an object of the invention is to provide a sheet-shaped reinforcing means of V-type rubber belt.
Another object of the invention is to provide a material of the sheet-
shaped reinforcing means of V-type rubber belt.
In one aspect of the invention, there is provided a V-type rubber belt, which comprises a rubber layer, wherein a reinforcing means is provided in the V-type rubber belt, said reinforcing means is in a sheet shape and formed between the upper buffer layer and the lower compression layer.
Preferably, the reinforcing means is positioned above the horizontal central line of the V-type rubber belt.
Preferably, the reinforcing means is in one-piece sheet structure.
]
Preferably, the reinforcing means is in a sheet structure and may have a section of different geometric shapes.
In another aspect of the invention, there is provided a material for making the sheet-shaped reinforcing means of the V-type rubber belt, wherein the reinforcing means is made of polyester, nylon or steel stripe provided with holes. The present invention has the following advantages. The sheet structure of the reinforcing means enhances the transverse rigidity of the belt, thus increasing the transmission power thereof. Due to the sheet structure, shearing forces between adjacent layers are avoided, thus increasing the durability of the belt. With the sheet structure of the reinforcing means, the process of manufacture of the belt is simplified and the cost thereof is reduced.
Because of the smaller elongation of the sheet structure, it is avoided that the distance between the mechanical equipment has to be adjusted frequently when the V-type rubber is being used BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
These and other objects and advantages of the present invention will become apparent and more readily appreciated from the following description
of the preferred embodiments, taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, in which: Fig. 1 is a section view of a V-type rubber belt, schematically showing the sheet structure of the reinforcing means thereof according to the present invention. DETAIN ED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERABLE EMBODIMENTS OF THE
INVENTION
Embodiment 1 Fig. 1 is a section view of a V-type rubber belt provided with sheet-shaped reinforcing means therein. Reference numeral 2 denotes a buffer layer which is .,. I 1 11_ 11111 '1111 [I I I 8 _111 1' 1 1 11 1 1 11 111111111_
made of rubber, reference numeral 3 denotes a reinforcing means having a sheet structure and formed under the buffer layer 2, a compression layer 4 is also made of rubber.
The sheet-shaped reinforcing means is formed by the following process: extruding polyester under high temperature, then drawing it into a sheet at high speed, subsequently, the sheet-shaped reinforcing means is sized based on the size of the required V-type rubber belt, impregnated by rubber binding agent, bonded with the buffer layer 2 and compression layer 4 through molding process to form a V-type rubber belt. The V-type rubber belt is cut in required length and formed into a loop by bonding both ends thereof.
Embodiment 2 The sheet-shaped reinforcing means is formed by the following process: extruding polyester under high temperature, drawing it into sheet having rectangular section at high speed, and then making it into sheet structure to manufacture the V-type rubber belt. The manufacture processes of the V-type rubber belt using the reinforcing means are the same as that of the embodiment 1.
Embodiment 3 In addition to the rectangular section described in the embodiment 2, the section of the sheet-shaped reinforcing means can be in the shape of triangle, cylindrical and so forth, which are all fallen into the protection scope of the present invention.
Embodiment 4 In this embodiment, the sheet-shaped reinforcing means is formed by extruding nylon and drawing it into sheet structure, the manufacture processes of the V-type rubber belt using the reinforcing means are the same as that of the embodiment 1.
Embodiment 5 In this embodiment, the sheet-shaped reinforcing means is made of steel stripe plated by copper or provided with a plurality of holes. The manufacture
processes of the V-type rubber belt using the reinforcing means are the same as that of the embodiment 1.
