Abstract
A V-type rubber belt, comprising a reinforcing means disposed in said V--type rubber belt; a buffer layer provided above said reinforcing means; a compression layer provided under said reinforcing means, wherein said reinforcing means is in a sheet structure. The advantages of the sheet-shaped reinforcing means are in that: the sheet structure of the reinforcing means enhances the transverse rigidity of the belt, thus increasing the transmission power thereof; due to the sheet structure, shearing forces between adjacent layers are avoided, thus increasing the durability of the belt; with the sheet structure of the reinforcing means, the process of manufacture of the belt is simplified and the cost thereof is reduced; because of the smaller elongation of the sheet structure, it is avoided that the distance between the mechanical equipment has to be adjusted frequently when the V-type rubber is in using.
Description
A FRAMEWORK OF A V-SHAPED RUBBER BELT AND MATERIAL
THEREOF
TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present irnrention relates to V-type rubber beit (i.e. wedge belt), and more particuiarly, to a sheet-shaped reinforcing means of V-type rubber belt and the material thereof.
DESCRIPTION OF THE RELATED ART
Presently, there are two main structures of the reinforcing means of V-type rubber belt, that is, fabric layer structure and cord structure. However, the cord structune has disadvantage in that the transverse rigidity thereof is not sufficient, thus causing transmission power Ioss, and the fabric layer structure has disadvantage in that there are exfotiation between the adjacent iayers, thus causing damage to beit and decreasing the durability thereof.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
Accordingly, the present invention has been made keeping in mind the above probiems occurring in the related art, and an object of the invention is to provide a sheet-shaped reinforcing means of V-type rubber beit.
Another object of the invention is to provide a material of the sheet-shaped reinforcing means of V-type rubber belt.
In one asped of the invention, there is provided a V-type rubber bett, which comprises a rubber layer, wherein a reinforcing means is provided in the V-type rubber belt, said reinforcing means is in a sheet shape and formed between the upper buffer layer and the lower compression layer.
Pn3ferably, the reinforting means is positioned above the horizontal oentral line of the V-type rubber belt.
Preferably, the reinforcing means is in one-piece sheet structure.
Preferably, the reinforcing means is in a sheet structure and may have a section of different geometric shapes.
In another aspect of the invention, there is provided a material for making the sheet-shaped reinforcing means of the V-type rubber belt, wherein the reinforcing means is made of polyester, nylon or steel stripe provided with holes.
It is still further aspect of the invention, there is provided a V-type rubber belt, comprising:
a one-piece reinforcing means disposed in the V-type rubber belt, said one-piece reinforcing means being selected from one of a polyester strip, nylon strip, or steel strip so as to have a sheet structure, and having a substantially triangular cross section, said polyester strip, nylon strip, or steel strip, each being provided with holes;
a buffer layer provided above said one-piece reinforcing means; and a compression layer provided under said one-piece reinforcing means.
The present invention has the following advantages. The sheet structure of the reinforcing means enhances the transverse rigidity of the belt, thus increasing the transmission power thereof. Due to the sheet structure, shearing forces between adjacent layers are avoided, thus increasing the durability of the belt. With the sheet structure of reinforcing means, the process of manufacture of the belt is simplified and the cost thereof is reduced. Because of the smaller elongation of the sheet structure, it is avoided that the distance between the mechanical equipment has to be adjusted frequently when the V-type rubber is being used.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
These and other objects and advantages of the present invention will become apparent and more readily appreciated from the following description of the preferred embodiments, taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, in which:
Fig. 1 is a section view of a V-type rubber belt, schematically showing the sheet structure of the reinforcing means thereof according to the present invention.
