Abstract

Carrirers for golf clubs.-A collapsable golf-bag carrier for carrying the bag in an horizontal position comprises a wheeled structure hinged to a handle-carrying member extending longitudinally of the bag so that, when rigidly erected, the wheeled structure and the longitudinal member are approximately at right-angles to one another. The golf bag B<1> is strapped to a bar B carried by a crossbar A<2> to which is hinged a pair of wheeled legs A. A draught-pole or handle C<1> slidable within bridge-pieces C, C<2> is retained in its forward position, Fig. 1, by a spring catch C<3>. The legs A are maintained in open position, Fig. 3, by a stay A<4>, and are connected to the bar B and to the draught-pole by flexible wires D'. The appliance when in use may be drawn along the ground by means of the draught-pole, and when at rest may be tilted until the base of the golf bag rests on the ground. When out of use the catch C<3> and the stay A<4> may be disconnected and the parts collapsed against the bag as shown in Fig. 4.
