Abstract

A device for inserting or retracting tacks or drawings pins includes a pole and an attachment. The tack is inserted into the attachment and inserted, eg into a ceiling, using the pole. The device may be used for putting up decorations.

BY INSERTING THE TACK (FIG1) INTO THE ATACHMENT (FIG 2) AND USING THE POLE (FIG 3) THE TACK POLE WILL INSERT THE TACK (FIG 1) INTO PLASTERBOARD CEILING'S OR SOFT WOOD. WHERE YOU WOULD NORMALLY INSERT A TACK/DRAWING PIN WHEN PUTTING UP DECORATIONS. BY REVERSING THE OPERATION THE TACK POLE WILL RETRACT THE TACK/DRAWING PIN.
THE TACK POLE HAS THE ADVANTAGE OF NOT HAVING TO USE A STEP LADDER.
THE TACK POLE CAN BE USED BY ANYONE WITH A STEADY HAND, YOUNG OR OLD. WITHOUT LEAVING THE FLOOR. THIS WILL REDUCE ACCIDENTS BY NOT HAVING TO USE UNSTEADY LADDERS WHERE YOU HAVE TO STRETCH TO INSERT THE TACK OR DRAWING PIN.

Claims (4)

1. FOR INSERTING AND RETRACTING TACKS'S OR DRAWING PINS ABOVE HEAD I-RGHT. USEFUL FOR PUTTING UP DECORATIONS.
2. BY INSERTING THE TACK (FIG1) INTO THE ATACHMENT (FIG 2) AND USING THE POLE (FIG 3) THE TACK POLE WILL INSERT THE TACK (FIG 1) INTO PLASTERBOARD CEILING'S OR SOFT WOOD. WHERE YOU WOULD NORMALLY INSERT A TACK/DRAWING PIN WHEN PUTTING UP DECORATIONS. BY REVERSING THE OPERATION THE TACK POLE WILL RETRACT THE TACK/DRAWING PIN.
3. THE TACK POLE HAS THE ADVANTAGE OF NOT HAVING TO USE A STEP LADDER.
4. THE TACK POLE CAN BE USED BY ANYONE WITH A STEADY HAND, YOUNG OR OLD. WITHOUT LEAVING THE FLOOR. THIS WELL REDUCE ACCIDENTS BY NOT HAVING TO USE UNSTEADY LADDERS WHERE YOU HAVE TO STRETCH TO INSERT THE TACK OR DRAWING PIN.
Amendments to the claims have been filed as follows Claims A tack pole for inserting and retracting tacks or drawing pins above head height, comprising a pole with an attachment at one end into which the tack or drawing is inserted, where the attachment has an 1-shaped slot which allows for the insertion of an 1-shaped portion of a tack or drawing pin. and which also allows for the insertion of a conventional tack or drawing pin.
