Description

I
THE DESCRIPTION:
FACT SHEET 1
THE INVENTION RELATES TO THE CORRECTIONS NEEDED WHEN
PUTTING UP ANY KIM) OF DECORATION SUCH AS FOR, CHRISTMAS, BIRTHDAYS, ANNIVERSARIES, CIIRISTENINGS, RETIREMENT OR ANY OTHER CELEBRATIONS.
IT IS A TOOL FOR PLACING DRAWING PINS INTO HIGH OR ELEVATED
AREAS SUCH AS CEILINGS. IT IS A SIMPLE CONFIGURATION WITH 4 (FOUR) CONNECTING PIECES. FIG 1 HOLDS THE PIN AGAINST FIG 2, FIG 3 AND, OR FIG 4., IF REQUIRED, WILL APPLY THE PRESSURE TO DRIVE THE PIN HOME IN TO THE APPROPRIATE AREAS, AS FIG 3 AND FIG 4 ARE HANDLES.
THIS INVENTION ALSO STOPS THE USE OF ILL - SUITED ELEVATION, SUCH AS THE USE OF CHAIRS, STOOLS, WHICH COULD CAUSE THE PERSON DOING THE DECORATING TO FALL TO THE GROUND.
THIS INVENTION ALSO ELIMINATES THE DISCOMFORT OF PRESSING, WITH ONE'S THUMB, AGAINST THE HEAD OF THE PIN.
THE OBJECT OF THIS INVENTION IS TO ALLOW PEOPLE TO PLACE
DECORATIONS, AT ANY POINT REQUIRED, WITHOUT WORRYING ABOUT FALLING OR HURTING THEMSELVES, IN A RELAXED CONVENIENT MANNER.
THE HEAD" FIG I AND FIG 2. CAN BE SCREWED OFF THE HANDLE, FOR USE OF LOWER DECORATIONS LIKE ON DADO RAILS, DOORS, WINDOWS SILLS, E.T.C.

  1. CLAIM SHEET
    I. WITH THIS INVENTION, I CLAIM IT WILL OVERCOME ALL THE DIFFICULTIES ONE MEETS WHEN PUTTING LIP DECORATIONS,BALLONS,BANNSpJ00 ELEVATED AREAS, SUCH AS THE CEILING FROM FLOOR LEVEL, IN COMPLETE SAFETY, AND WITHOUT THE FEAR OF FALLING TO THE GROUND.
  2. 2.TO USE PINHEAD, SIMPLY PLACE PIN BETWEEN FIG 1.WHICH IS A "SLIDER", AND FIG 2, WHICH IS THE HEAD, ATTACH END OF THE APPOINTED DECORATION ONTO THE PIN SHAFT, AND WiTH THE HELP OF FiG 3 AND OR FIG 4, RAISE TO APPOINTED AREA AND PRESS HOME, AS SEEN IN DRAWING NUMBER 2.
  3. 3.THE "SLIDER" FIG 1, BY WAY OF THE TWO SCREWS ATTACHING IT TO FIG 2, CAN BE LOOSENED, AND OPENED WIDER FOR USE OF ANY SIZED PIN HEADS. AS SEEN IN DRAWING NUMBER 3.
  4. 4.THE UNiQUENESS OF THE "HEAD" IS THE TAPER ON THE SLIDER, WHICH IS FIG 1.
WITH THIS UNIQUE SHAPE, IT WILL ALLOW THE PINS HEAD TO REACH THE CEILING WHILST TRAPPING THE DECORATION AGAiNST THE CEILING,BUT LEAVING THE FRONT OF THE PINS HEAD OFF THE CEILING, THE WIDTh OF THE THICK PART OF THE TAPER. WITH THIS SMALL OPENING, iT WILL ALLOW FOR THE HEAD TO ACT IN THE SIMPLE MANNER AS A CLAW HAMMER AND NAIL. AS SEEN IN DRAWING 2.
  5. 5. FIG 1, IS A "L" SHAPED "SLIDER", WHICH WHEN SCREWED TO FIG 2, WELL PINCH THE PINS HEAD, JUST ENOUGH TO GRIP IT AND STOP IT FROM MISGIJIDENCE WHEN APPLYING DECORATIONS TO HIGH OR LOW POSmONs.
  6. 6.THE RETRIEVAL OF ANY SIZED PIN FROM THE CEILING WILL EASILY BE OVERCOME BECAUSE THE SLOT EDGE OF FIG 1, IS SHAPED TO A VERY FINE, SHARP TAPER TO SLIP UNDER ANY EMBEDDED PIN.THEREFORE ACTING IN THE MANNER OF A CLAW HAMMER AND NAIL. AS THE TAPER CAN BE SEEN IN FIG! DRAWING.
  7. 7.THE "PINHEAD" HAS FOUR SIMPLE ATTACHABLE PARTS FOR NO NONSENSE AND NONE COMPLICATED, EASY USE.
  8. 8. When fully assembled the Pinhead, when gently pushed to the ceiling, will not scuff ceiling paintwork when applying or withdrawing the decorations, as it * needs no twisting. The gap is enough to slide the tapered face under the pin and gently pull straight out. *.SS *

8.THE "HEAD" FIG I AND FIG 2, CAN BE SCREWS OFF FIG 3, AND OR FIG 4, AND USED SEPARATELy VERY ERGONOMICALLY IN ONE'S HAND FOR LOW DOWN DECORATIONS ON DADO RAILS, WINDOWSILLS AND DOORS.
9.WITh THIS UNIQUE SLIDING HOLDER, AND BECAUSE OF THE TAPER, WHEN PUITJNG UP, (JR RETRIEVING PINS THE UNIT WILL NOT SCUFF OR SCRATCH CEILING PAiNT
WORK THE SLIDER WILL SLIP EASILY UNDER THE PINS HEAD AND EASILY LEVER IT OUT.
1O.FIG I, IS AN "L" SHAPED METAL SLIDER WITH A SLOT IN THE FRONT TO HOLD AND GUIDE THE PIN. FIG 2, IS A HEAD TO PUSH PIN HOME. FIG 3 AND 4, ARE TUBULAR HANDLES,USED AS A CONDUIT TO GET THE DECORATIONS UP INTO PLACE.
    I
Amended Cims Sheet 1. This invention is to help eradicate at least 98% of all accidents, inconveniences and troubles when using drawing pins to affix decorations, banners, balloons, streamers to either high or low locations.
    2. To use Pinhead, adjust the slider to the width of the pins head which is about to be used. This is done by loosening the screws attaching the slider to the head.
    3. By pushing the slider to the head, with just enough gap to allow the pin to come out when affixing decoration, but will not allow the pin just to fall out, where it could be lost, bent or even worse, stood upon. This method will make sure it will be securely held firm, ready for use.
    4. The head and slider are designed to accommodate any sized pins on the market and because of its ability to slide apart, this makes it unique in every use. When the pin is accommodated in the slider and head, the head can be screwed to the choice of either I or 2 long handles which will act as conduits to get the height required for any high location.
    5. The slider has a front face with a U or V shaped slot which is thicker at the base, so as to leave a small gap, making only one side of the pins head touching the ceiling and allowing easy retrieval of pins because of the taper on the front face of the slider.
    6. The Pinhead is ergonomically shaped and formed as to help wheelchair bound people who have upper body strength and ability. This will allow them, and others, the power and freedom to do the task for themselves. The head is user friendly and could be used by people with arthritic hands and people with less dexterity than others.
    7. The head and slider along would be used for low down decoration of dado rails, windows and doors.
