Abstract

A cover, particularly for central heating pipes, comprises a base having holes to enable the cover to be screwed to a surface such as a wall or the floor. The cover is longitudinally split to enable the cover to be clipped over the pipe to be covered. The cover serves to hide and protect unsightly pipes, and may also be heat resistant to prevent accidental burning.

Description

2353081 PIPE COVER The invention relates to a PIPE COVER which can be
fixed to a floor or wall.
The cover hides and protects unsightly pipes.
The object of the invention is to protect pipes from damage and also give personal safety from hot pipes.
This invention provides a shield and has screw holes at the base for fixing purposes. It also has an opening to the back so that it can be clipped over a pipe before being fixed permenantly.
The cover is to be made of plastic and is heat and impact resistant. It can be easily cut to required size.
2 DETAILED DESCRIPTION
As shown on figure 1, the cover is round with an opening to allow it to clip over a given pipe. The neck is formed at the base with two holes for screw fixing. It is designed in such a way that it gains all it's strength from the base when fixed. The cover is to protect central heating pipes where visible on floor or wall. It also prevents possible burning of the skin, if the pipe were to be touched.

Claims (3)

1. A pipe cover for beating pipes is pressed over pipework in both horizontal or vertical strategies with respect to the cover being held in position with assistance from screws which prevent removal.
2. A cover as claimed in claim I is made from plastics or wood.
3. A pipe cover is illustrated in the accompanying drawings.
