Abstract

234,309. Newbold, H. July 2, 1924. Spectacles; eyeglasses.-The mounts for spectacle and eyeglass lenses comprise lugs c bearing against the opposite surfaces of the lenses and secured thereto by a screw d passing through a hole in the lens and by pins i engaging notches in the periphery. A three-point contact is thus provided. The pins i may be continuations of the bridge and plaquet arms or may be independent thereof. In place of two notches a peripheral slot may be made in the lenses. Specifications 21944/07 and 14839/09 are referred to.
