Abstract
233,908. Baker, F. E. June 17, 1924. Tubular constructions.-In a cycle in which the engine forms part of the frame and a tube o connects the steering head to a point near or below the centre of the seat tube b, a single bracket i used to connect the engine crank case e, the tubes c, b, and the chain stay g, is adapted also to carry the gear box m. Front and rear stays d, h and the bracket i are connected to the crank case at three places as shown. A projection n on the crank case for connection with the stay h serves as support for the brake pedal and foot rests. The connections at j, k, are made by brazing; at i, and at 1 - - 4 by bolts.
