Bracelets. - The two end's of a bracelet of the kind comprising a strip of tortoiseshell, xylonite, thin metal or like material which is bent around with the ends overlapping are maintained in that position by means attached to or slidably connected with the ends, and engaged in slots formed in the respective opposite ends. In Fig. 1, headed pins 1 attached to the ends of the bracelet are used for this purpose. In an alternative form, the pins 1 are replaced by nuts and bolts which may slide in the slots. Fig. 3 shows one end of a further form of bracelet in which each end of the bracelet is made claw-shaped and engages in a slot formed in the opposite end, a loop 5 being provided to retain the ends in position. In any of the above forms a pin loosely slidable in the slots may be provided as a further means of retaining the ends of the bracelet in position. Specifications 4330/78 and 3642/88 are referred to.
