Abstract
233,281. Fischbach, W. M. Feb. 2, 1925. Rails and tracks.-A guard for preventing the trains falling when rounding curves comprises a strip engaged by the side of the train and supported by clips engaging the rails. As shown in Fig. 2, the strip 8 is carried by a standard G supported by a member 5 which is bent as shown to engage the rails 2 and pass under the middle rail 3. The rails may be placed as shown, or in the grooves 15, 19, so that the guard is further from the rails. In a modification, the members 5 are bent to provide a single position only for the rails, or have straight portions adapted to pass through and clip on to the sleepers.
