Abstract

233,174. Sarson, A. O., and Lardner, V. F. June 16,1924. Walls; roofs.-Sheets of glass. asbestos &c., are supported on channelshaped glazing-bars 1 with or without turned-up flanges. Clips 5 may he provided having limbs 5a projecting through openings in clamping members 6 bearing on the sheets. The clips may be composed of two limbs riveted to the sides of the glazing-bar &c. At the outside edge of the roof, the clips may embrace only one, side of the channel and be bent over the edge of the sheets. At a joint in the roof, the flanges of the clip 6 may be bent upwardly to form stops for the upper sheet of glass &c. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 1930/79, 10917/86, and 109,734 and 138,018, [both in Class 20 (iii), Doors &c.].
