Abstract

233,052. Davy, W. J. Feb. 2, 1924. Mats.-A scraper or mat for the running board of a vehicle comprises a base-plate a with sinuous slots of dovetail cross-section extending along its length. Strips of rubber b of a similar crosssection are inserted in these slots, and have shouldered portions resting on the upper faces thereof as shown in Fig. 3. Between the strips are curved recesses or slots c curved in section to provide no corners to hold the dirt; the usual guard plate e may be provided along the rear edge of the base plate.
