Electromagnets.-An electromagnet 7 is adjustably secured to a supporting frame 4 by a screw 3 which passes axially through a hollow adjusting screw 1 in the frame 4 and bears on a socket-wrench 2 which is shaped internally for co-operation with the screw 1. By the introduction of the socket-wrench 2 any play between the screw 1 and the frame 4 is taken up.
