585,445. Electromagnetic relays. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES, Ltd., TOWNER, S. H, and CHILDS, P. A. April 28, 1944, No. 5080/46. Divided out of 585,401. [Class 38 (v)] In a contact-spring-pileup . for electromagnetic relays the contact springs are rooted in a ceramic block 11. The block may be shaped as shown with overhanging portions 21, each contact spring being embedded in a setting material 20 or being fixed by the method disclosed in Specification 584,734, [Group XVII]. Alternatively the contact springs may be located in a serrated hole in a ceramic root block. Fig. 3 (not shown). Speeifications 566,778 and 585,444 also are referred to.
