Abstract

232,749. Robinson, J. E. March 20, 1924. Creel - frame arrangewents.-Each plate spring 8 used for braking the bobbins &c. of carpet looms has an internallythreaded large boss 10 to receive an adjusting screw 11 whereby the brake effect may be varied. The plate spring is slotted to receive the trunnion 2 and is bent towards the bobbin at both its upper and lower ends. The screw 11 passes through an opening in the bracket 3. According to the Provisional Specification, a cam, eccentric, or adjustable pin may replace the screw.
