Abstract
Wires 11,12 can be used for connecting a normal supply at one end 111,121 with an abnormal supply at the other end 112,122. The supplies may be normal and malfunctioning car batteries. If the normal ends of the wires are correctly connected, an indicator LED1 is illuminated, and similarly if the abnormal ends are correctly connected, indicator LED2 is lit. If the wires are wrongly connected, the respective indicator does not light, and a buzzer 221 sounds. At the same time, the wires are disconnected by interrupters 231,232 to prevent damage being caused by short circuit current.
Description
DC POWE CONNECTING WIRE WITh ERRORPROOF INDICATION
The present invention relates to a DC power connecting wire with errorproof indication, including light emitting elements, a buzzer and an interruPter. In the case that the wire connections of the normal and malfunctional power ends are correct, the light emitting elements emit light to show the correct connection. In the case of incorrect connection, the buzzer emits warning sound and the interrupter disconnects the wires from the power.
In a conventional external power connecting wire for a car, two ends of two Parallel connecting wires are disposed with clips for clipping the positive and negative electrodes of the normal and malfunctional powers to form a circuit. It often happens that the clips are reversely connected with the electrodes to damage the circuit systems of both the malfunctional car and rescue car.
It is a primary aim of the present invention to provide a DC power connecting wire with errorProof indication, including light emitting elements, a buzzer and an interrupter. In the case that the wire connections of the normal and malfunctional power ends are correct, the light emitting elements emit light to show the correct connect ion. In the case of incorrect connection, the buzzer emits warning sound and the interrupter disconnects the wires from the power to protect the car circuit from being damaged by great current.
The present invention can be best understood through the following description and accompanying drawings, wherein
Fig. 1 is a perspective view of the present invention; and
Fig. 2 is a circuit diagram of the present invention.
Please refer to Figs. 1 and 2. The present invention includes a set of power connecting wires 1 and an errorproof device 2. The power connecting wires 1 is composed of a Positive power connecting wire 11 and a negative power connecting wire 12 parallel thereto. Two ends of the positive and negative power connecting wires 11, 12 are respectively disposed with normal power end clips 111, 112 and malfunctional power end clips 121, 122 for clipping the electrodes of the batteries of the normal car and malfunctional car. The errorproof device 2 is composed of a normal end indicating means 21, a malfunctional end indicating means 22 and override protective means 23. The override protective means 23 includes two override interrupter 231, 232 respectively disposed between the clips of the positive and negative power connecting wires 11, 12. The normal end indicating means 21 is formed by a resistor R1 and a light emitting diode LED1 serially connected therewith.
The LED1 is positively connected between the positive and negative power connecting wires 11, 12 ( P pole of
LED1 is connected to the positive power, while N pole is connected to the negative power ) near the normal power end. The malfunctional end indicating means 22 is formed by a resistor R2, a light emitting diode LED2 serially connected therewith and a buzzer 221 parallelly connected with the LED2. The LED2 is positively connected between the positive and negative power connecting wires 11, 12 near the malfunctional power end. The buzzer 221 is negatively connected therebetween beside the LED2.
In use, the clips 111, 121 of the normal power end of the connecting wires 11, 12 are used to clip the positive and negative electrodes of the normal power ( such as the battery of a rescue car ). In the case of correct clipping position, a positive bias voltage between the positive and negative power connecting wires 11, 12 is exerted on the LED1 to energize the same. At this time, a light is emitted to indicate that the clipping at the normal power end is correct. In the case that the clipping is incorrect, the LED1 suffers a negative bias voltage and no light is emitted. At this time, the buzzer suffers Positive bias voltage to emit warning sound. Similarly, the clips 112. 122 of the malfunctional Power end of the connecting wires 11. 12 are used to clip the positive and negative electrodes of the malfunctional power ( such as the battery of a malfunctional car ). In the case of correct clipping position, a positive bias voltage is exerted on the LED2 to energize the same. At this time, a light is emitted to indicate that the clipping at the malfunctional Power end is correct. In this case, a normal charging can be performed. In the case that the clipping at the normal power end is correct, while the clipping at the malfunctional Power end is incorrect, the buzzer suffers positive bias voltage to emit warning sound. Also, a great current will take place due to short circuit of the positive and negative power connecting wire 11, 12.
At this time, the override interruPters 231, 232 can disconnect the positive and negative power connecting wires 11, 12 from each other in time so as to avoid damage of the circuit of the car.
It should be noted that the above description and accompanying drawings are only used to illustrate some embodiments of the present invention, not intended to limit the scope thereof. Any modification of the embodiments should fall within the scope of the present invention.
