229,439. Roper, F. Dec. 22, 1923. Windscreens.-In a multi-panel windscreen for vehicles of the kind comprising not less than four front panels a, b, the supporting-means for the screen comprise fixed bars f arranged on the sides of the vehicle carrying slidable sleeves e which are pivotally connected either to the outer edges of the panels b or to the junctions of the panels b and the side-screens c, and pivoted bars i mounted on brackets j on the sides of the vehicle and carrying slidable sleeves h which are connected to the junctions of pairs of front panels a, b of the screen. The inner edges of the innermost panels c are adapted to be connected in the usual manner. Specifications 186,230 and 198,580 are referred to.
