Abstract
229,243. Ernemann-Werke Akt.-Ges. Feb. 15,1924, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Act]. Optical-projection apparatus. - Apparatus for projecting individual pictures on film bands has the film storage chamber b, the film guide c, the guide for the film-feeding slide h, and the film re-winding chamber d all bent out of a single sheet of metal e. In the construction described the slide h carries two film-gripping teeth which are mounted on the free ends of flat spring i, and have their lower edges at right angles to the path of the film and their upper edges bevelled off. The slide is depressed by a knob t against tension of springs k which press it against the film guide c and retract it after the film guide has been fed. Teeth mounted on the ends of flat springs q secured to a plate o having a window p, retain the film during the return of slide h. A steel tongue l attached to the lower end of slide h conveys the film into chamber d. The stroke of slide, h can be altered by means of an adjustable stop n.
