Ink.-Charcoal made from peat or coco-nut or other shells is used for making printing and lithographic ink, mixed with some or all of the following materials, namely, pitch made from peat tar, glycerine, ordinary soap dried and reduced to powder, linseed-oil varnish, linseed oil, cotton-seed oil, and resin oil obtained by distillation of pine cones.
