Abstract

A baby bottle includes a float 1 controlling a valve 3 which cuts off flow through the teat unless the teat is being sucked, the bottle being secured in an inverted position by a holding arm 6, 7 which is clamped to a pushchair, pram, playpen, etc. A filter 2 prevents pressure from the fluid forcing the float valve 3 downwards. The float 1 passes through a centre hole of the filter 2, preventing it moving from side to side. The bottle 4 is screwed into holding arm 6 by section 5. <IMAGE>

Description

THIS INVENTION RELATES TO A 'LEAK FREE' BABY BOTTLE AND HOLDING ARM.
(Background) All babies at some time tip there bottles upside down and shake them the result being fluid sprayed on his-herself carpets and furniture the invention in question prevents this and the bottle being thrown away from happening.
(Essential Technical Features) The float and float filter prevent fluid dripping from the bottle when it is suspended from the bottle holding arm.
It is then fixed into position by the holding arm clamp and child can drink freely.
Figure 1. Bottle float the float filter Figure 2. Bottle with float in position Figure 3. Bottle holding arm Referring to Fig 2 and 3 The holding arm clamp 8 is secured to pram, pushchair, carchair, highchair, or baby playpen 9 after float 1 float filter 2 and float tip 3 is inserted into teat 10 the bottle 4 is then filled after turning the bottle 4 upside down screw into the top of the bottle holding arm 5.
The child will be unable to move the lower holding arm 7 but can move the upper holding arm 6 to drink freely from the bottle 4.
